Forest's unbeaten run burden bolstered at Bolton's Burnden

40 years ago Forest won at Bolton to stretch their unbeaten league run to a remarkable 42 games, the equivalent of a whole season. This was eight better than the previous record, set by Don Revie's Leeds United in 1973. I went along, visiting Bolton's famous home ground, Burnden Park, for the 3rd time. So, here, I want to pay a small tribute a great old club and ground as well as continuing my nostalgic admiration for the fantastic achievements of Brian Clough and Peter Taylor as well as reminding readers of how brilliant John Robertson was - scoring in his 109th successive Forest appearance to become our top scorer of the season, at least for a while.
